*COVID-19 ANNOUNCEMENT*

Alhamdulillah, by the will and mercy of ALLAH SWT, Masjid Umar Sheffield continues to open for congregational prayers.

*FOLLOWING THE UK GOVERNMENT ANNOUNCEMENT, FACE COVERINGS WILL BE COMPULSORY AT PLACES OF WORSHIP and OTHER PUBLIC INDOOR VENUES FROM FRIDAY 10th DECEMBER 2021.*

THEREFORE to protect each other and to prevent the spread of illness *ALL attendees are required, to WEAR a Face Covering/Face Mask,* covering the mouth and nose, AT ALL TIMES THAT YOU ARE IN THE MASJID BUILDING. *This is no longer optional but a legal requirement* .

You MUST follow the above RULES to ensure the health and safety of ALL and compliance with our Covid-19 measures.

Please also continue to follow guidance with respect to good hand hygiene and avoid attending the Masjid if you are feeling unwell or have Covid-19 type symptoms.
