Where should we meet at Toronto Pearson Airport after landing?
I'm planning an official trip to an IT conference for our company, and I've also got to deal with the practicalities of getting around for five of my colleagues at that event. Like, we are a group of two flying from Air Canada and three WestJeters which means we will arrive at different terminals. While checking out some information on the Toronto Airport structure, I found the site https://toronto-yyz-international-airport.com/en that has information about the exact position of meeting spots that would work for us. Turns out the facility covers parts of two cities - Mississauga and Etobicoke. Now I’m wondering where we should meet after security so no one gets lost among the hundreds of gates. Maybe do you happen to know of a popular location that is in one of the terminals where we can comfortably gather with our bags, say, a cafe or a lounge?
You’ve got quite a challenge ahead, but it’s easy to solve. The best meeting spot is the area near the exit of the Terminal Link—the free train that connects both terminals. It’s spacious there, so it’s hard to miss each other. Or arrange to meet near the large information kiosks in the Terminal 1 arrivals area, since it’s the largest. Most importantly, warn the guys not to go out onto the street alone. Have you already booked a private minivan for the group, or do you plan to figure it out once you get there?
