Aston Villa will be looking for another victory this weekend

Ollie Watkins and Moussa Diaby continue up front for Aston Villa, as Unai Emery reverts to the XI that beat West Ham last weekend.

Ross Barkley is back in the Luton team, with Andros Townsend among the substitutes.

Emery's Aston Villa have emerged as potential top-four contenders in the EPL. That 4-1 thrashing of West Ham last weekend moved Villa up to fifth, just a point shy of the Champions League qualification spots. Only Newcastle have scored more goals in the first nine rounds of fixtures.

Emery celebrated his first anniversary as Villa boss this week and he will be looking to mark the occasion with another victory on Sunday. Villa will move into the top four - at least temporarily - if they are triumphant in this game.

Luton Town will have something to say about that, although this looks like a very tough assignment for Rob Edwards' men. The Hatters have at least shown a few signs of late in recent weeks, not least in their comeback from two goals down against Nottm Forest last time out.

A 2-2 draw at the City Ground represented a good result for Luton, who have picked up four of their five points this term away from home.

Aston Villa have followed up a their previous PL campaign by starting the new season on a high. The Villans have garnered 19 points from their opening nine games and are undefeated in their previous five fixtures. Two continuous 4-1 victories in England and in Europe will give them a massive injection of confidence when they host a lower ranked side at the Villa Park.

Luton Town have had a difficult spell in England's premier division since being promoted this season. The Hatters have managed just one win in their opening nine fixtures that came against Everton as they sit just above the drop zone. Winless in their previous three games, Luton Town will have a daunting task ahead of them when they face a high-flying Lions away from home.

Ollie Watkins will once again be hoping to bulge the back of the net having already scored for his side five times this season alongside his five assists.

Centre-back Tyrone Mings and left-back Alex Moreno remain on the injury table due to a cruciate ligament tear and a hamstring injury respectively.

Argentine attacker Emiliano Buendia is another long-term absentee for Unai Emery with the former Norwich player expected to return next year.

Defender Reece Burke is out injured which could open the doors for Amari'i Bell while Issa Kabore would also be vying to return to the lineup against Aston Villa. Gabriel Osho is the another injury concern for the Hatters with the English defender recovering from a knee problem.

This year sees Manchester City try to defend their crown and claim a historic fourth title in succession. Pep Guardiola’s all-conquering City, who also won the Champions League and FA Cup last season, will have to see off Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool and the rest to claim an unprecedented sixth league title in seven years.

Meanwhile Luton Town are making their first appearance in the Premier League, having risen from non-league in an incredible decade of progress. They followed Championship winners Burnley and second-placed Sheffield United in earning promotion to the top flight.
